A Bright Accent for Welcoming Spaces

Yellow has a natural relationship with hospitality. It catches the eye, warms a neutral room, and makes an entrance feel more open. Applied to the expressive lion head form, it creates an ornament that is cheerful enough for a celebration but relaxed enough to remain on display afterward.

Built Around the Idea of Welcome

The original lion dance is experienced through sound, movement, and gathering. This smaller object cannot recreate a performance, but it can preserve a little of that welcoming energy. In this collection, yellow is interpreted as optimism, confidence, warmth, and shared enjoyment.

Place It Where People Gather

1. Near an indoor dining area to add a festive note to shared meals.
2. Inside a kitchen entrance where a compact decoration will not use counter space.
3. In a family room beside photographs, travel objects, or seasonal flowers.
4. At a cafe, restaurant, or shop reception where customers can see the detail closely.

Balancing a Strong Yellow

Walnut, oak, cream, deep blue, forest green, and matte black all give yellow a grounded setting. In a minimalist room, let it be the only bright object. In an eclectic room, repeat the color once in a small textile or artwork rather than throughout the entire space.

Before Hanging

Choose a dry indoor hook with enough clearance for the tassel. Keep the ornament away from cooking heat, candles, and areas where it may be pulled. It is intended for decoration rather than play.
